Samsung announces Galaxy A42 5G - its cheapest 5G phone yet


 Samsung has further expanded its FiveG portfolio by introducing the Galaxy A42 5G. The company has shared photos of the phone in an announcement. Samsung has shared very few details of this smartphone. The company says it will share all the details later at launch.

The display of this phone is 6.6 inch Super AMOLED. Earlier, Samsung had introduced 1080p display in A41.

The display of this phone will have a water drop notch on the top with an under display fingerprint scanner, which will have a selfie camera of the phone.

The back of the phone will have four cameras that will be better than the A41. Details of these cameras have not yet been released. The camera at the bottom of the picture is the depth sensor.

As the name suggests, this phone will be Samsung's cheapest phone in terms of FiveG technology. Earlier, Samsung's cheapest phone was the A51 FiveG. Other details of this phone will be revealed shortly before its launch later this year.

Samsung introduced the A40 and A41 in March. Now it seems that Samsung has been introducing the A42 for over a year now.
